An alternative investment boutique employing over 60 people based in London, UK, specialising in renewable energy, international property, healthcare and media & entertainment investing and financing.
Client Situation
The client is an investment boutique with dedicated sales and client services teams. The sales team engage with potential new investors through financial advisors, in a sales process that may take months given the nature and complexity of investment products sold.
As the investments are equity investments, significant post investment support is provided by the client services team, including administration and management of the investment structures and taxation information.
Project Goal / Vision
The client had been using multiple spreadsheets for each team to track necessary contact information and history. There was extensive duplication of contact information around the organization, and the process of tracking the sales funnel was laborious for the sales team and did not provide the necessary management visibility.
Despite making an initial investment in CRM software licenses, the client had not identified how the software could be released to the business and what the impact would be of using a unified contact management system.
The client required a senior analyst to advise on how to best implement the CRM system whilst minimizing the disruption to the existing business processes.
